Sea Gypsy Village offers a purpose built Dog Grooming Station, complete with Eco friendly dog shampoo & conditioner imported from Australia, towels and a professional dog dryer (with attachments). We also offer stainless steel dog bowls for food & water in various sizes.

Note: On holiday a dogs best friend is it’s brush. Brushing to get rid of salt & sand is far better than bathing.

Whilst we love being able to accommodate dogs please make sure your pet meets our criteria (so take off the rose coloured glasses and have a good look at your floof before deciding!).

Dogs must be trained

Dogs are NEVER allowed in the Bar or Restaurant but since both are virtually open air dogs are quite happy to be tied up on the other side of the wooden balustrade. Alternatively we can put tables in the garden.

Dogs are not allowed in the rooms. We have wide verandas with plenty of room for either soft or travel kennels, or they can simply sleep on a long line. We do not mind if the soft kennels are moved into the room at night but the dog may not be let lose in the room EVER.

Note: If we find that your have let your dog lose in the room you will be charged RM500++ for a deep clean.

All dog poop must be picked up immediately and ONLY disposed of in the dog poop bin by the Dog Grooming Station (NOT the bin in your bathroom!). We only allow COMPOSTABLE poop bags to be used so we can put them in the Vermikompost.

Note: Biodegradable is not compostable. We provide compostable bags if you can’t find them.

Do NOT bring your dog if:

It is not trained

It never stops barking or whining.

It chases strangers.

It bites people.

It doesn’t like children.

It doesn’t like boats.

It has tics.

If you live in Singapore, because it can’t go home without it going into quarantine!!

If you do decide to bring your dog and it cannot follow any of our rules & regs you will be asked to leave, the quoted cancellation fee on your confirmation sheet will be charged.

At Tanjong Leman:

We suggest you stop before turning into the car park and allow your dog out to go to toilet if necessary.

Please park your car well away from the main jetty buildings and KFC and leave your dog in the car whilst you pay your jetty & marine park fees and unload luggage.

Our boatmen will inform you when ready to embark and assist you.

YOUR DOG MAY NOT WALK ON THE JETTY, IT MUST BE CARRIED OR USE THE TROLLY WE PROVIDE.
