From Singapore via Woodlands, The Causeway & Johor Bahru
- The
drive is 2.5 hours, please give yourself 3 hours for the
journey.
- Cross the Causeway.
- Follow the car signs and remember to stay in the car lane all the way to the left if you do NOT have Malaysian Immigration cards OR a Malaysia Auto Pass (RM20 or RM50).
- Coming out of Customs there's an overhead sign for the Eastern Dispersal Link, follow signs for Route 3 to Kota Tinggi & Mersing.
- Take exit 1404B off the EDL to Route 3 Kota Tinggi & Mersing.
- You are now heading north on the Tebrau Highway, part of Route 3, and this will take you all the way to the turn off for Tanjong Leman.
- You do not have to go through Kota Tinggi as there is a by
pass.If you wish to fill up with petrol or if you have children and
they need to ‘go’ we suggest that you go through Kota Tinggi and use
one of the service stations there. Most toilets cost 20 cents, take
your own toilet paper! This will only add about 15 minutes to your
journey.
- *46 km from the end of the Kota Tinggi by pass (a large
intersection with signs to Desaru) turn right through a check point
onto the Tenggaroh Plantation.
- From the turn off to the beach is
28km.
- Follow the signs to Pulau Sibu, Tg. Leman (there is one left
turn & one right turn).
*There is a sign to Tanjong Leman at the Sedili turn off, 13 km north of Kota Tinggi. This road is very badly maintained and we do not advise you use this route.
- There is a security barrier at the entrance to the car park, if it's been
left open just drive straight in.
- Go to the left, round to the right, to the end of the first parking area, take the small roadway
that veers to the left, following it round to the right and you will
be in the main parking area that Tg. Leman jetty.
