The easiest way is to take the MRT to Kranji. Exit the station, cross the
bridge over the road and take the Causeway Express Bus (it’s bright yellow
with blue smiley faces, you can’t miss it) across the Causeway to Johor
Bahru Bus Station at Larkin. The
cost is RM2.40, you must have exact change. You
must disembark to walk through Immigrations & Customs, carrying all your
luggage so keep the ticket to get
back on the bus after the check point.

·
From Rochor Centre, Rochor Road you can take a “shared taxi” to Johor Bahru
for S$8 per person. Taxis won’t depart until they have 4 passengers. The
good thing about this option is that you don’t have to get out and walk
through Immigrations & Customs on either side. The bad part is you have no
idea who you are travelling with, what kind of documentation they have or
what is in their bags that could cause delays getting through Immigrations &
Customs. Please don’t let this put you off as this is a really easy way to
make the journey, this is just a gentle reminder.
